"Let’s face it - creativity doesn’t happen between 9am and 6pm."

For the 'Freedom' exhibition at Designblok '15 in Prague, curated by Agnieszka Jacobson and Tulga Beyerle, Studio Blond &Bieber developed an interactive installation to celebrate the freedom of sleep.

As designers we have an exceptional profession. Our creativity is our main capital and creative work itself cannot be framed within the borders of a 9 to 6 policy. As creatives - do we have to stick to the strict regime of the market? As working people - do we have to be bound to the social corset of conventional office hours? Isn‘t it the greatest freedom to make use of your own creative potential without restrictions of economical or social nature? We must admit that it’s hard to jailbreak cemented working structures. So we had to start our innovative work with the most basic: sleep.

For the "Freedom“ exhibition at Designblok '15 in Prague, curated by Agnieszka Jacobson and Tulga Beyerle, Studio Blond &Bieber turned 'Sleep With Us' into an interactive installation to celebrate the 'freedom of sleep'. With the slogan 'Tired of Design?' 'Need a Nap?' visitors were invited to use the limited edition of woolen sleeping backpacks in the exhibition area. The installation was nominated as best studio presentation by the Designblok Award15.
