As an academic and researcher, Rasa researches on the process of underwater mineral accretion and its sympoïetic potential for the ecological formation of marine habitats. At the intersection of marine biology, anthropology, and design, she explores the notion of Interspecies Architecture with human, animal, and microbial actors in the ocean. Her publications grapple with design research in open environments, fieldwork methods, design anthropology, and sympoïetic design strategies.

As an academic and researcher, Rasa investigates a queer ecological approach to underwater habitat formation and its sympoietic potential for the shaping of life within blasted seascapes. At the intersection of marine biology, anthropology and design, she explores convivial approaches with human, animal and microbial actors in the ocean. Her publications grapple with design research in open environments, queer ecology, fieldwork methods, design anthropology and sympoietic design strategies.
