INTERNSHIP

Internship 2025

Ecological Design / Design Ecologist (d/f/m*)

This is a unique opportunity: An internship at the intersection of design and marine biology, on land and underwater.

For the summer term 2025 (approx. end of January - end of July) I am looking for a design intern to join me in my shared studio at "Matters of Activity" in Berlin. I am looking for a highly motivated, independent and creative person with an interest in prototyping, craft and marine ecology. We will be working with textile and weaving techniques, clay and pottery between Berlin and France, and installing works underwater. A diving licence is not required, but would be an advantage.

Required skills:

  • Currently studying design (product/textile/interaction) at BA/MA level or related discipline
  • Strong prototyping skills
  • Good 3D modelling and 3D printing skills
  • Interest in craft / textile and weaving techniques
  • Interest in pottery
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Adventurous! (we may go underwater)
  • Diving licence not required but welcome

If you are interested, please send your short motivation statement, portfolio and short CV to info@rasaweber.com.
